New York Primary comes to a close: Bernie in Long Island City
It has been a privilege to cover the Sanders campaign in New York City as a photographer. I photographed four rallies in Brooklyn and Queens, hearing Bernie’s speech so many times that I could probably deliver it myself. It has been an exhausting but rewarding experience, and I hope that my readers in New York will go out and vote tomorrow for the candidate of their choice.

28,000 people attended Bernie Sander’s campaign rally two days before the Democratic primary in New York, the first competitive primary for both parties in recent memory.
Pressing the Flesh
Bernie in Coney Island
Coney Island is an unlikely scene for a presidential campaign rally, but the unlikely candidate drew an energetic crowd to the boardwalk on a Sunday afternoon.

Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders addressed an enthusiastic and diverse crowd at a campaign rally today in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.
Fifth Avenue Easter Parade
The annual Easter Parade on Fifth Avenue, not a parade but a spectacle. The concept of an Easter Bonnet is open to interpretation; while the Empire State Building was well represented, I was partial to King Kong as a bunny rabbit. Some take the holiday more seriously than others.
