Metropolitan Museum of Art
I went to see the exhibit of Charles Marville’s photographs of Paris in the 19th century. I stopped at the courtyard and couldn’t resist the overlapping shadows on the balcony.

Roosevelt Avenue, Queens
This is her job… walking under the elevated subway line at the 82nd Street station on the 7 line in Jackson Heights, Queens wearing a sandwich board. She is in constant motion. Alex (could he be known as Sasha to his Russian friends?) wouldn’t be pleased if she didn’t keep up a continuous murmur of “Compro Oro, Compro Oro” (I Buy Gold).
